Rep. Fink to help lead Military and Veterans Affairs and State Police Appropriations Subcommittee

State Rep. Andrew Fink today was appointed by House Speaker Jason Wentworth to serve as vice chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military and Veterans Affairs and State Police. 

Having served as a U.S. Marine both on active duty and in the reserve, Fink said he is honored to accept the position and looks forward to serving the state in this capacity.  

“Our active service men and women and veterans deserve the utmost respect and appreciation from the State of Michigan,” Fink said. “I am pleased to have this opportunity to advocate for their interests within our state budget, as well as those of our dedicated Michigan State Police who help ensure our safety every day.” 

Fink was also appointed to serve on the House Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Insurance and Financial Services, and General Government Appropriations subcommittees, as well as the House Health Policy Committee.
