LANSING, MI – State Rep. Pauline Wendzel and Senator Aric Nesbitt welcomed Miss Blossomtime and her court to the Michigan State Capitol.

“At one hundred seventeen years old, the Blossomtime Festival is the oldest and largest multi-community festival in Michigan,” Rep. Wendzel said. “Blossomtime is a time-honored tradition in our community and highlights some of the best attributes of Southwest Michigan including our rich agricultural heritage.”

Rep. Wendzel continued, “both of my sisters and I participated in Blossomtime, and I know these young women and men have worked extremely hard for their titles and the honor to represent their communities and this festival. I hope they embrace every new opportunity, exciting experience, and lasting memory that their time with the organization brings them.”
