State Rep. William Bruck is spearheading new bipartisan plans that will protect state and national security interests and establish a needed framework for drone use in Michigan.

This is a common-sense bill that is all about safety,” Bruck said. “With clarity in law and more practical, predictable driving patterns, we can improve traffic flow and reduce the number of truck and vehicle accidents that we see on our roadways. I’m very appreciative of the support that’s been behind this legislation, and that was reflected in this vote.”

State Rep. William Bruck today said procedural mistakes and inaction from a state department charged with protecting Michigan’s most vulnerable amounts to a dereliction of duty.

“This is a practical plan that offers clarity and makes sense for everyone out on our roadways,” said Bruck, of Erie. “Limiting slower-moving trucks to the right lanes will help reduce congestion, make our highways easier to navigate and increase safety.”
